Altona artist Olivia Klippenstein recently held a watercolour workshop for kids at Gallery in the Park on July 24. The event gave kids a chance to explore different painting techniques both inside the gallery and in the sculpture garden. A second watercolour workshop for children was held at the gallery on Aug. 16. Both events were very successful. The Altona Recreation Dept. is currently looking at Fall/Winter kids art programming with instructor Olivia Klippenstein as they continue to look for creative ways to use the space at the facility. This has come together because of the effort of Klippenstein and gallery curator Susie Fisher.
