Border Land School Division passed a motion to assign the areas around St. Joseph and Letellier to the Altona catchment area. BLSD superintendent Tim Mendel says this area was never assigned to any specific catchment area since the division was amalgamated from the former Rhineland School Division.

The Morris Mavericks lost game one of the Zone IV league final 4-2 against the GVC Zodiacs on March 2. A slow first period saw the Zodiacs take the 2-0 lead. In the second Ethan Comeault and Tristan Keck scored to tie the game, but in the third the Zodiacs regained their lead.

Rosenfeld residents enjoyed another successful Winter Carnival on Feb. 27. Committee member Carol Schroeder says they had a great turnout for the pancake breakfast on Saturday morning. "We had lots of people turn out for that," she says.
